Paris!

Arrived in Paris around 830 yesterday,  manged to figure out the train system and we were on our way.   Luckily we made it just before they stopped train service for a few hours.    After wandering around,  we found the subway line to get to our hotel in the 17th (little did we know we could have walked there in about 30mins).   Dropped of our bags and decided to walk to Sacre Coeur,  which we could see in the distance.   Then we lost sight of it so just wandered the streets,  till we saw it again.     Came up on the back side of it,  so it wasn't too crowded.  We decided to splurge and walk the 300 steps to the top where we got our first view of the Eiffel Tower!    We also visited the crypt below.   Amazing how huge the whole place is!  By then jet lag had set in,  so we headed back to the hotel.   Checked in,  had a quick rest and headed back out for dinner and a stop at the Montmartre cemetery,  which we had walked by earlier.   Unfortunately,  it closed at 6.  So we will revisit on Monday.    Decided to take an evening pic of Moulin Rouge,  all lit up,  then went to a place I found on Trip Advisor for dinner.   We had a delious  plate of 10 different cheeses,  bread,  salad and wine.   Off to Versailles today!
