Arriving in Old Town

So we've reached Albuquerque, NM almost to the Grand Canyon. We're staying on Route 66 at the Sandia Peak Inn. We spent the morning being a bit lazy in Santa Fe (after working out! Go us!), but then headed to The Plaza area in Old Santa Fe. Walked around for several hours checking out the sight and taking lots of photos. Very artsy and interesting. Had a traditional Southwestern meal at the Plaza Cafe, then headed out of town to Alburquerque. We got here a little late for sightseeing Old Town, but decided to walk from our hotel to the Rio Grande River. Came back and decided to drive to Old Town after all, but as seem the norm, everything here closes pretty early in New Mexico, so we'll go back tomorrow. Then we'll head towards Flagstaff and Williams, AZ before hitting up the Grand Canyon on Wednesday. Oh yeah, and we walked over 20,000 steps today (almost 9 miles!)!
