Rainbow!

After our fantastic sleep in Casper, we headed out early-ish to Denver. Arrived in Denver and checked in at a nice Quality Inn - with an expanded continental breakfast, Yum! Then we drove to downtown Denver, checked out the State Capitol Building, where you are exactly 1 mile above sea level. There was a fair going on, so we wandered around that for awhile, before walking the 16th Street Mall. Had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory where we splurged on Red Velvet cheesecake. Then walked some more to burn off the cake, got caught in a rainstorm, but saw an awesome double rainbow. 6 miles of walking today and Jacky was wearing new shoes!! No blisters though (for either of us ;) ). The day ended with a wicked thunderstorm. Off towards Santa Fe tomorrow, should be at the Grand Canyon by Tuesday.
