Our Hotel

We have discovered the yummiest southwestern treat...the sopapilla....so good, but so bad for you! We had one for dinner and 2 for dessert tonight and we're still full. We spent the morning in Old Town Albuquerque before heading out towards Gallup, NM to see the famous "El Rancho" Hotel where many celebrities have stayed. Then we drove to the Worldest Largest Meteor Crater and decided it was a rip-off at $15 when it closed in less than an hour, so we continued on our way to Flagstaff, where we ate at "Salsa Brava" a restaurant featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives. Plus it is on Route 66. Very tasty, but super filling. Drove to Williams from there, staying at the Highlander Motel. Went for a walk and took some night shots of the Historic Downtown on Route 66. Grand Canyon tomorrow!
